Cheryl has been sick for quite awhile. Bad sore throat, lost voice... a very nasty strain of virus. Instead of seeing a doctor, she was persuaded to go see a sinseh. Well this is the stuff that was prescribed to her. About thirteen different herbs and something that looks like... pebbles? Go figure.

The initial plan was to go to the medicine hall and just get something off the shelf but since they now have actual traditional doctors there, she was told to go see the TCM doc. At the end of it, we were stuck there for about an hour after which she was told that she would be able to "sing like a canary" after taking that bunch of wierd stuff. Well that was about a week ago. Still haven't been able to sing like a canary. Probably eaten by the frog still stuck in her throat.

Mistakes with kids

One mistake that people tend to make when dealing with kids is that they give them sweets and chocs. Big mistake cos too much sugar makes them hyper. Lucky if you're only an aunt and you can offload them on their parents later on. Unlucky if you're the parent having those hyper kids offloaded onto you. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
