Chris' Classic Mini

This... is Chris' mini 'unveiled'. Since purple is my fav colour, it stands to reason that I just love the paint job; two tones of purple. It being Ricks fav colour as well, I'm not surprised that he picked it. Luckily for him, Chris is easy going with the colour choice for her car so he got to pick the colours for her. Look closely and you'll see that the bonnet stripes are a darker shade of purple. That same dark purple is used for the roof as well. Subtle and nice.
The restoration project is still ongoing and is (I believe) far from over. But... it's getting there. It drives better than Marmaduke did towards the end of his time with me.
I just love being in a classic. Doesn't matter whether I'm in the driver or passenger seat; nothing beats a Mini.
These pix were taken with my Sony Ericsson W710i. Not bad for a camera phone, eh?

Weather Forecasting Stone

Didn't take this shot; got it via... email, I think or FB. I think it's a great idea. What easier way to tell the weather?? Duh!

Chris P's soccer training

Took the boy for soccer on Saturday. It's been awhile since I last took him. Have to say... his soccer HAS improved; and so has his attitude towards the game.
The last time we took him (dad and I), he either always wanted to be striker or, (when he was tired), the goalie. And when he played, he'd hog the ball and always try to be the one to score. Even when he was stuck and his team mates were open. This time, though, he was more 'on'... was more willing to pass on the ball when he knew he couldn't score and his passing was more spot on. Basically, he was more of a team player this time around.
Kudos to him. I may be biased but... I really do enjoy watching him play. He has potential. I just hope he doesn't lose interest in the game.
