Frasers celebrates a win!

We did it again! We were picked as the Best Serviced Residence in Asia by Travelweekly Asia again this year. This makes it the second consecutive year that we've won.

To celebrate the win, we were given an early release on Friday. The Sales (and Reservations) administrators were allowed to 'dress down' a bit. That meant that we could come in our specially printed shirts, tailored pants and a jacket. In the evening, we all headed from Suites to Place for a celebration party. To cater for all kinds, there was karaoke for some (mainly for the aunties, I guess). For the rest of us, there was a mini version of the Amazing Race. That was fun but... when you're sick, running around that much makes you feel all the more green and tired. All things considered, it was still a fun run up to the weekend.

The ROCIT board

Well... it's finally up. After months of us hemming and hawing, Zee finally put everything together. We've had lots of slack over here at FS cos as a team, we kept talking about changing things but never actually got around to it. Lot's of ideas were given, etc but... nada. Nothing. Nobody did anything.

After lots of grumbling by higher management, Rahilah finally designed the sign and Zee did up the new Awards board and put up all the updated stuff. As for me, I just helped to pull down the old redundant nonsense and put up the miserably designed Birthday list. From next month on, we're gonna get an actual birthday card, put all the birthday folks names on it and have the ROCIT members sign it. Then we'll stick it up on the board for all to see. It DEFINITELY beats having me 'design' one. Eh. I didn't get F9 for Arts for nothing, you know.

Well done, Zee. Thanks for that! If we'd had an Extra Mile award for this year, you can bet I'd have voted you for it!
