A Frasian Outing

I have to say, I'm slowly beginnning to understand what the 'Fraser Culture' is all about; same too with what it is to be part of the Fraser Family.

We had three counterparts from our Bangkok property, Fraser Place Langsuan, down here for a (literally) whirlwind Sales Blitz. Dunno if they managed to achieve all that they'd expected to in such a short time. I'd be surprised if they did, as even I know that it was too short to achieve much. Outside of work, I guess they didn't really have much time for sightseeing and stuff. While two have been here before, for one, it's her first time here.

On their last evening here, we took them out for dinner and drinks in Clarke Quay. Dinner was out on a stationary boat. We then had dessert at Haagen Daz and drinks at Forbidden City an Ministry of Sound. In between, we had fellow Frasians join us... Angela (for dessert) and Steven (for drinks).

I really hope they had a good time with us. I've heard individuals say they're stuck up. I admit, I thought that the DOS was like that but once you get to know them, they're actually nice people. They just need time to warm up to us. And as for the DOS, she's new to the company too. I hope that from last night, she learns what I have... that with the Fraser Culture, there are no barriers. Whether you're a GM, Manager or operations staff, there are no real boundaries. Everyone mixes with everybody. That's one thing that I've learned to get used to here, which is far different from my previous work places where it's very unusual to see the COO, GM and even Directors mixing freely with the rank and file staff. Everyone used to mix only 'within their circles'.

Now that I'm used to this new culture, I have to admit... I really like it as it is.
